Cultural Foundation - Chinese poems/stories.





Topic 1:
Confucius said in his Analects (who knows whether facetiously or not):  “I’ve never met a man who loves ethics more than sex.”  Are the two—sex and ethics--inevitably (or naturally) opposed, one “high” and the other “low”? Might some argue that sex contains its own “high” ethics? If so, on what basis? If not, why not?
