Compare and Contrast the role of one set of ideas (religion, philosophy,
military traditions, political ideology) in two world societies in the
early modern period. Be sure to compare and contrast the two societies
in the same areas for both: political system, culture, social relations,
international relations, ect. What forces does this set of ideas exert
on these two societies-stabilizing or destabilizing, conservative or
radical, peaceful or warlike, expansionist or isolationist, ect. Explain
to what extent these paterns of thought serve as unifying factors or
sources of division.
The two societies you will use are England (Britain) and India and compare religions.
