Temptation

English and Literature
Paper instructions:
Compare the idea of “wisdom” in Gilgamesh and in the Old Testament. After Enkidu is “tamed” through his week-long sexual experience, he “was grown weak, for wisdom was in him, and the thoughts of a man were in his heart” (50-51). Compare this to the pages 90-91 of Genesis in which Adam and Eve eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and become wise. What are the similarities and differences between the way that wisdom and knowledge are portrayed in these two texts?CLICK HERE TO ORDER THIS ESSAY!!!!
