Beowulf and Sir Gawain

Paper instructions:
Beowulf and Sir Gawain present two different types of “hero”. They are, obviously, very different people in very different settings, indicating a massive change in circumstances between the pre-medieval Beowulf, and the 13th century figure of Gawain. A few centuries have passed, but the worlds they live in are radically different.
In a 5-7 page paper, compare and contrast the heroism of these two characters, and use them to explain what has apparently changed in British culture between the days of Beowulf and the Knights of the Round Table
