Please complete a report in the format that we have been using throughout the semester. Your task is to take on the role of Claire Mathews, and to recommend the best strategy for increasing the production capacity at the Cambridge plant. As noted in the last paragraph of the case, you are required to consider the financial and the relevant non-financial issues, and then choose a recommendation accordingly. Consider which financial criteria you will use to make your evaluation.
For success with this case, it is important to take careful note of all of the key case facts (and to refer to them in both the Executive Summary (although more briefly) and the Introduction. There are numerous relevant factors to be taken into account, but be sure to only refer to those that are key. That is, don’t fill your introduction with a regurgitation of everything cited in the case! Choose only the relevant points.
