Assignment #3/ Eliminating Styles from The Line
What factors, apart from price, must be taken into consideration when styles in a line must be eliminated? What steps must the product developer take in order to maintain the overall look of the collection when eliminating styles?
What would you do in order to eliminate as few garments as possible?
Do you feel eliminations could be due in part to poor planning of the line? Buying fabric that was too expensive? Not staying true to one’s target customer in the design phase of the line?
