Mexico Population Pyramid in 2013 vs. 2050
Please access the U.S. Census Bureau International Database (in the Background Reading) and answer the following questions in a 3-4 page paper:
1. Compare the population pyramids for Mexico for the current year and for 2050 by describing the following:
•Shapes of the pyramids (e.g. Are they inverted, jagged or smooth, or not a pyramid at all?)
•Age groups with the greatest proportion of population and the smallest proportion. Compute the birth year for these cohorts.
•Other notable features, such as whether the pyramids widen at the bottom or shrink in size? Does this mean the population is aging or getting younger?
2. What factors and/or population theories might account for the differences in the pyramids? Explain.
3. Does the pyramid for 2050 show “zero population growth” or “negative growth?” Explain.Click Here To Get More On This Paper!!!!
