Psychology

1 Good example Anita! A similar situation is occurring with many of our brave veterans who have experienced traumatic brain injury due to service in combat. As medical advances save lives, it increases the need to ensure long-term care promotes recovery of cognitive function, where possible. 1) What role do psychologists have in the long-term care of individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury?
2)Goritza said: Technology has truly open doors for advance in lots of areas especially in medicine/sciences and in corporate America but we seem to be using our brains for less and less thanks to technology. Its the simple things like you said we are losing libraries across the world because everyone had a computer my oldest daughter 15 didn’t know what a Dewey Decimal system was ( guess im telling my age). I don’t want to wake up one day and push a button for what I need instead of using my brain.
Interesting comment here Goritza. 2) Do people think that an over-reliance on technology will have negative consequences for our cognitive processes?
