Why do some parts of the world develop more quickly than others?
In chapters 8, 9, and 10 of Guns, Germs, and Steel, Diamond provides a possible answer as to why some parts of the world develop more quickly than others. Analyze and evaluate these arguments. Is there a point in time where the kinds of geographical arguments Diamond makes cease to be relevant to explaining world development? Explain.
