The student is required to prepare a term paper consisting of a discussion and analysis of a
psychotropic medication (Zoloft). The student should examine the psychopharmacological effect of the
medication, the psychological condition (s) in which it is used, the advantages and disadvantages
of its use, and its efficacy. The paper should be 8 ? 10 pages in length.
Part of the paper will require that the student also research outside reference materials in the
form of scientific journal articles, books, media reports and web sites. The student will use the research findings in the analysis of the chosen
medication (zoloft). The student is required to use a minimum of five (7) references in researching his or chosen psychotropic medication(zoloft). These seven required articles should have been published within the past ten (10)
years.
