Project description
Personality of human beings tends to differ in accordance to their background, culture or the country they belong. In the recent times, it has been identified that innate trait possesses by an individual also plays a crucial role in shaping the personality of any individual. There are fundamentally five traits that are firmly related with human beings which are largely responsible for controlling their personality to a great extent. The first in this regard is the trait of openness. This trait reflects the degree of intellectual curiosity of an individual. It also includes the nature of the person to appreciate art, emotion as well as creative ideas. Most of the time, person having such traits usually prefers novelty and variety in their life. The main advantage of having this sort of trait can be firmly associated with organizational work. For instance - the increasing demand for innovative and creative ideas in the present day organizations, people with such trait can contribute positively towards meeting the demands of such organization more efficiently through their creativity and innovative ideas (Nelson, Quick & Nelson, 2012).

The next trait associated with personality of human beings is represented as conscientiousness. People with such traits have a personality that tends to strive more towards positive achievements in life. They show more self discipline in themselves which makes them suitable for strict organizational roles. It has also been noted that such persons are largely strict towards their responsibilities. The advantage of having such trait for an individual is concerned with their endeavor to perform the assigned tasks with increased responsibility and accountability. For example- there are organizations and job roles where people need to be highly responsible and disciplined in order to ensure positive performance. In such cases, having such personality often proves to be largely advantageous.
Another major trait is termed as extraversion where personality of individuals is found to be more energetic and outgoing. They deliver positive emotions and are quite energetic in activities they perform. Since they are enthusiastic and action oriented, they are more suitable to work that involve lots of energetic attitudes (Collins, 2011).
Agreeableness is associated with another paramount trait of personality wherein people are characterized with friendly behaviors with others and easily adjust in strange situations. They are also quite cooperative and helpful to others without the presence of any personal interest. They do not argue with people and accepts things rather more easily. All these aspects of their trait make them suitable for activities that involve more obedience and cooperativeness (Spreitzer & Porath, 2012).
The next vital trait of personality is termed as neuroticism where the individual in most of the time portray extreme emotions. They get angry quite frequently in very small reasons and easily fall into depression. In precise, the individuals with such trait are considered to be moody and highly emotional. Hence, it is tough for them to adapt to certain job roles owing to their moody nature. However, this trait can work positively for an individual towards work where there involve less responsibility and rules (Collins, 2011). Finally, it can be concluded that all the five traits have their own specific characteristics which further differentiate human personalities among different individuals.
