2. Consulting Analysis: This project will give you the opportunity to analyze several of the consulting “meetings” which are detailed in the Hays textbook.

The Hays textbook is full of consulting “meetings” which provide detailed transcripts of meetings between consultants and performers. For this project you will choose 3 of those consulting meetings. Note: Please be sure that each of your chosen meetings comes from a different chapter.

After reading the transcripts of each meeting (please be sure to read ALL of the transcripts for each meeting as some of them run throughout an entire chapter) you will write a summary of each as well as an analysis of the consultant’s work. Based on your knowledge of Sport and Performance Psychology you should write a detailed critique of each meeting. Please be sure to use information from the textbooks (and outside sources) to support your points.

Your paper should adhere to the following format:

1. List the meeting you will analyze, including the chapter and page numbers.

2. Summarize the meeting in your own words. You can assume that I have already read the transcript so you do not have to give too much detail. Just summarize the main points.

3. Critically analyze the meeting including strengths, weaknesses, things you would do differently, points that you did not understand or disagreed with, etc. This should be the most in-depth part of your paper. Be sure to use the textbooks (and outside sources) to support your arguments.
