The Great Divide Indigenous health and federal government policy


The Northern Territory Intervention and the Closing the Gap initiative

Examine these two policies.
Explain the similarities and differences of these two policies.
Discuss whether these policies have been effective or ineffective in reaching their specific goals to date.
Has either of these two policies been a productive instrument in ending the disparity that exists between Indigenous and non-Indigenous health? Why? Why not?
I?m taking the position that the policies have been INEFFECTIVE and have NOT been a productive instrument in ending the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous health.
