Explain how you will conduct the quantitative part of the research. This should include aspects such as:
 Research hypothesis (or hypotheses): clearly stated, unambiguous, realistic, symmetrical.
 Explain the sampling method.
 Design a suitable method for collecting data (ie. include a questionnaire or other
such device) and explain how you would administer it (if appropriate), together
with any ethical issues.
 Explain how data will be analysed and presented in order to address the
research hypothesis.
Explain how you will conduct the qualitative part of the research. This should include aspects such as:
 Explain the sampling method.
 Explain the data collection method(s) and provide a list of appropriate questions
together with any ethical issues.
 Explain how data will be analysed and presented in order to address the
research question(s).
Part 3 ? Overall justification and summary
Drawing on a range of research methodology literature, write a critical evaluation of your mixed methods proposal. As a result, you should conclude by highlighting the strengths and weakness of the mixed methods approach.
Important note: you do not actually have to collect or analyse any data for this coursework ? this is just the proposal stage.
