“Current Events Article Review – An objective of the course is to engage students in discovering how organizational behavior(OB) relates to everyday life and current events. Students are to find and report on a timely article that the student can relate to a topic in the field of organizational behavior in an area of their interests. This article should come from an established newspaper, business magazine, or periodical. Articles from websites, blogs, etc., that are not established journalistic sources are not acceptable.
Your report on the article should be 1 to 2 pages in length and include: (1) title of the article, (2) source, (3) author, (4) date, (5) a summary of the content, (6) an explanation of why you selected the article, (7) how the article relates to the topic chosen, and (8) what you learned from the article. In meeting this course requirement students should scan through the textbook to gain a feel for the board scope and range of topics that relate to Organizational Behavior and which are of particular interest to them, and then to find an article that relates to this topic of interest. Finally, you should think critically as to how the chosen article relates to your chosen OB topic.”
