Paleolithic Society, the Neolithic Era, and the Agricultural Revolution


in what way could you argue that the ability to create an agricultural surplus became the lynchpin in the development of complex societies? What made an agricultural surplus possible? How did these surpluses lead to urbanization, specialized labor, and the growth of social and political hierarchies?
