respect


Paper instructions:
Actually 3 different versions of one expository essay. All strict MLA, 12pt font, Times New Roman.
First essay (3-5 pages, was due 9 September 2013): Based on the assumption that you know what you mean by the word “respect,” this draft should explore what you think other people mean by the word. Society? Peers? teachers? parents? Is there a gap in understanding that can be correlated to culture, gender, or age? any common ground between these differing views?
Second essay (3-5 pages, due 11 September 2013): Topic is still “respect,” but this draft focuses on your definition of the word, how you think respect can be best shown (especially by teachers to their students). Approach should be shaped by thinking from first essay, incorporate no more than 30% into this essay.
Final Draft (due 9 December 2013, 3-5 pages): Final draft should represent a consideration of your entire approach to the topic (sentence phrasing, organization, clarifying arguments). No more than 60% of final essay may be taken from other papers directly (without serious revision).
