The Customer data tab represents data provided by the customer and the sample data(phone and chat) is data that I collected by calling a customer. It would be ideal to compare my data (phone and chat) to the customer data (including charts and histograms) and include any other interesting data that would apply to the chapters we have covered in class (see attachment).
The overall objective is how to decrease call/talk handling times but I also just want to have an interesting presentation that covers as many chapters, calculations and statistics as possible.

The purpose of the presentation is to minimize the company's call handle time of their tech support. However, after evaluating the data, I concluded that the data itself does not allow for such a solution without knowing the company's operation, such as employee training and competence. Therefore, I decided to focus on the samples I have collected from a different company (Phone and Chat). I now want to present that my chat support samples are significantly lower than the phone samples.

The following are customer service phone support times (blue) and customer service chat support times (green). [See attached file]

Also, my part of the presentation should be kept under 7minutes. Therefore, the amount of material I am going to be able to discuss is limited. I want to emphasize that the chat time on customer support is much more effective and efficient. Please feel free to implement any calculation and statistics you might find appropriate. Include histograms, descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, and test hypothesis that chat support samples are significantly lower than the phone samples. Include any other statistics you find right from among the chapters in the attachment. Also, I would like to know which calculation to apply in order to determine the probability of a phone call / live chat of x>1000second occurring. I need that included in the excel file.

LASA: IPO Presentation & MyAccountingLab Post-Tests
This assignment will consist of two parts.
Part I: IPO Presentation:
You work for a medium sized privately held electronics firm which is considering transitioning to a publically held organization. Your boss found out that you were taking business courses at Argosy University and has asked you to prepare a presentation for upper level management to explain the process by which a privately held company would transition to publicly held company.  He has asked you to  describe the general accounting processes involved in establishing an initial public offering (IPO), including but not limited to accounting for all assets, liabilities and equities of the firm. Prepare a 15-20 slide professional MS PowerPoint presentation which covers the following:
  • Identify and explain the top five reasons private companies go public.
  • Explain information the firm is required to provide to the investor with complete transparency.
  • Compare and contrast the differences in accounting processes and procedures that medium sized companies such as yours go through when going public.
  • Discuss any concerns you believe the company should guard against while transitioning from privately held to publicly held (shareholder apprehension, fair market value, etc.) and provide solutions to each concern.
Use the notes section in MS PowerPoint to explain your talking points. Use at least two charts and two additional graphics which support your points. Utilize at least three references (one of which may be your text) in your presentation.

Common and Preferred Stock
Respond to the following independent issues concerning the capital stock of corporations in your initial post:
  • Why are paid-in-capital and retained earnings displayed separately in the stockholder's equity section of the balance sheet?
  • Why would investors buy common stock when preferred stock is available?
  • If you owned 5,000 shares of common stock in Microsoft Corporation and someone offered to buy the stock for its book value, would you accept the offer? Provide rationale for your decision.

Good answer, I forgot about code of ethics on a job this sounds like a better answer than mine.  I stated that because Darrell committed inappropriate behavior he was fired.   Because of what I said they would have to state the behavior he committed.  Whereas, going by code of ethics which was probably read and signed by Darrell when he was hired, the bank can just fire for not abided by code of ethics.  Your way they don't have to go through hardly any paper work.
Response 2

Great Post!  Thanks for sharing with the class on this case.  So many things to consider here.  After the sexual behavior incident, Darrel file was revisited and he was terminated.  I believe there should have been a thorough investigation about the sexual harassment before just terminating him.  I believe when the accusation came up, then they revisit the file. To me it appears that he was terminated for his criminal conviction.  Why did they wait to review his file? He was convicted of embezzlement not sexual harassment.  It appears that this was the reason for the termination because they did not investigate the sexual harassment.  Perhaps with his background any criminal activities will not be tolerated, I just hope they conveyed this with him.
Response 3
Good Job on this assignment.  There are two types of sexual harassment in the workplace....of the two which do you think this circumstance was?
