after providing a brief background on the Texas “revolution,” the rise of the concept of “Manifest Destiny,” and the United States annexation of Texas, discuss the causes, views about, and consequences of the United States War with Mexico, 1846-1848. Process
Your perspective will be that of student consultants, or an activist group. In other words, you’ll be analyzing existing practices and make suggestions for improvements possibly including examples of “best practices” you find (you may compare two cities, for example).
