‘CSR’, or, ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’, has become an extremely important issue when deciding on factories to be used for product development, both overseas and domestically. What are your personal opinions regarding this extremely important topic? How would you go about ensuring that the working conditions were safe and fair to the employees of the factories you want to work with?
Please remember when writing this assignment that one must take into account the cultural differences of foreign countries when compared to ours and the also socio economic attitude of the country. Can we expect them to follow our requirements or is the work ethic of China, as an example, so totally different from that of the U.S.A?
