rebelling against government for Locke


Under what circumstances are a people justified in rebelling against their government for Locke? What are the implications of this view?

* The Fourth essay is 1000 words in length, under the subject: Political Economy, essay question is: Which is the more important institution for development, the market or the state?
* The Fifth Essay is under the same subject: Political Economy, 1000 words in length, essay question: To what extent are classical approaches to political economy relevant to the issues facing developing countries today?

* The sixth essay is also under: Political Economy, 2000 words in total, Essay question is: Is it more important for governments and development institutions to focus on poverty alleviation or economic inequality? Justify your answer with theoretical arguments and/or real world evidence.
The seventh essay is in a form of a reading diary which consist of a short summary of at least six items (chapters, articles) that you have read during, 1500 words minimum, Each entry should contain:
- Full bibliographic details
- A very brief summary of the contents and argument of the piece.
- One or two illustrative quotes
- Your assessment of the piece (eg do you agree/disagree?; what you have learnt; relation to other material; ease of reading)
- Please use a variety of sources (ie entries should not all come from same book) or website.
* The Eighth essay is under the subject: Poverty, Inequality and International Development, essay question is What are social movements and how do they contribute towards development? 1000 words in length.
