Assignment #2

The kind of PR pofessional to hire

Hiring a good PR professional is one of the crucial achievements that anorganization can make. However, to get such a PR is not an easy task. This is because a lot of factors have to be considered. This work aims at describing the kind of PR professional that a company or a CEO can hire. The work will also focus on the qualification as well as experience.
Aspects and qualities to consider

PR professional is a person that is meant to assist the company in depicting good image about the company. He has several responsibilities as far as company’s image is concerned. For example, he or she is expected to assist the CEO on what to say and what not to say in media as a way of building or maintaining the company’s image. A PR is also expected to oversee that the employees works together synergistically and that the top management can relate well with the employees or the subordinate (Ingrid 2006). PR professional links the company to the outside work or to the community.
Because of this, he or she should have different qualities that can enable him or her work well with people from the multicultural and complex societies while at the same time facilitating the strategic goals of the company. This means that he or she should possess a variety of leadership and management skills as well as interpersonal skills. But the big question is: what exactly should the potential and successful PR look like? This is among the many questions that this work anticipates to answer.
The first element to consider is that the successful PR professional should have adequate leadership skills. It should be noted that leading orders is not a simple task. This is because the workplace and the society at large comprises of people from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and wants. This calls for proper leadership skills.  A PR professional would have a role of influencing, developing other and motivating. He or she should be a person who can treat everyone fairly regardless of the job position a person is in and should always maintain a pleasant demeanor. He should focus more on gaining trust and commitment rather than fear and compliance. He should have good skills to foster warm relationship amongst the people he interacts with, to understand them and identify ways in which they can improve their interpersonal relationship (Ingrid 2006). He should possess high level of self control and initiative. This means that a PR professional should be able to control his emotions in different trying situation. He should be also proactive to ensure that any new opportunity is communicated and utilized.
A good leader should lead and not follow and hence if there is any opportunity, PR should not sit around and wait for specific instructions. Instead, he or she should take the initiative and set the trend. It is through this that  PR can inspire the employees and the community.  It is true that a good PR should possess the leadership qualities. However, the CEO should also understand that some leadership qualities are better than others. Based on this, I would argue that  a PR professional should adopt servant leadership traits. It is through these trait that the PR can foster an atmosphere of teamwork by making everyone, both employees and the community, feels like they are part of the process (Ingrid 2006). It is also through such leadership traits that a PR can get motivated to solve problems rather than pointing fingers. He or she should be able to reflect his work daily and learn from it. This will enable him or her nurture a positive work attitude in colleagues and establish good working habits. It should be noted that no matter how gifted a PR is in terms of educational qualification and experience, he or she cannot get very far without other people.
Selecting a motivated PR is another element to consider. CEO should know that motivation is a key factor in determining PR’s level of output and productivity. A PR who is not motivated to his or her work may not be able to perform well. PR has to be highly motivated at all times in order to relay the same energy to work colleagues. CEO can utilize assessment models such as Central Michigan University Model to evaluate whether the potential PR is highly motivated or not (Ingrid 2006). According to this model, the level of motivation of a person is determined by aspects such as work habits, work attitudes, stress management, learning and self insight. It has been found that those PR with experience in leading others may have added advantage because experience may give them insight or knowledge on how to deal with people. The best way through which a PR can deal with people well is by accepting, respecting and appreciating him or herself.
As far as dealing with other people, a good PR is that who cannot let circumstances affect his or her interpretation of issues. A successful PR should exhibit the trait of honesty and integrity. This is because his role mainly concerns handling issues affecting the people as well as the organization. Honesty and integrity have been proven as integral part of success (Ingrid 2006). It helps PR in communicating with society and even in addressing matters of the environment and general business. Honest would enable the PR and the company itself to establish long term relationships. Another crucial element to that a PR should have is the ability to communicate well outside the organization.
A successful PR should also have positive working attitudes towards tackling obstacles. He should also have high sense of persistence and tolerance to overcome challenging hurdles. He or she should be flexible to pursue both the shorter term goals as well as the long term goals to avoid getting demoralized by obstacle (Ingrid 2006). To determine this, the hiring team should be able to determine the work attitudes of the prospective PR through the use of Central Michigan University Model.
Another crucial thing to consider before hiring a PR is that PR is mainly concern with the passage of information from one person to another, from one department to another and from organization to the community. Information sensitivity is thus an important issue to consider. A successful PR is one that can be able at all times to protect sensitive and confidential information. He should be able to follow rules and existing protocols. Still in the sector of information handling, most investors expect companies to provide true information.
Consequently, transparency is a key requirement of any PR. A PR should be able to make sure that all required information is readily accessible by investors and disclosed in a secured manner. A PR should also possess what is called cognitive competence. It is through such competence that a leader can influence the community and even the employees towards doing good. Such competence develops with experience. Concerning the personality traits,  a PR should have what the Central Michigan University Model called the emotional competencies, particularly in social competencies. Such traits include empathy and social skills.
It is through these skills that a PR can interact well with people from different backgrounds. However, a good PR should not be too emotional. It has been found that emotional people may get tempted to respond to certain situations emotionally. Currently, media is a good means through which a company can depict its image. If PR, out of emotions, misstates some information, the consequences can be detrimental because it can affect the reputation of the company significantly (Ingrid 2006). Misstatement can also determine the likelihood of investors investing in the company. PR should also train others on how to talk to the media. This means that he should be high competent and confidence.
As far as qualification is concerned, PR should be qualified in various field. These include the field of business administration, the public relation and also the accounting. In other words, a PR should have a degree or diploma in the three areas. He or she should also have a minimum of five years experience. This is because PR is expected to have more leadership and interpersonal skills than the CEO (Scouller, 2011).

Assignment #3

Introduction and purpose
Public relations management probably is the most important component of any organization today. It deals with promotion of the organizational image among the different stakeholders: the society, corporate citizens, the value chain and the functional level people. As the old adage goes, perception is everything and as such, whatever the impression the parties have it may define it for a long time. For this reason, it is very important for the public relations department to pre-act by pre emptying any negative information about the organization while promoting the good side of it. Today’s public relations has changed a greatly to deal with the increasing stakeholders whose interest are different and diverse yet they need to be met. It is therefore important for public relations officers to keep a safe balance between all the groups because if any of them is not satisfied then it may paint a bad picture of the organization to others. It raises the inadequacy of the organization to meet the obligations and responsibilities to all stakeholders. A public relations officer is supposed to gather intelligence on either of the stakeholders and determine how they are likely to behave in the face of organizational policies. It is from their findings that they develop a strategic plan to counter their reaction and moderate it for the organizational good (Ledingham, & Bruning, 2000).
It is therefore important for the public relations department to come up with a comprehensive public relations mission statement that will cater for all parties. The importance of a mission statement is to provide a clear direction, which public relations activities are to take. It diminishes the possibility of conflict and confusion as it rallies the parties around a common goal, towards which resources are channeled as well. At every level of stakeholders, the public relations practitioners have a role to play. A public relations mission statement can strategically place an organization when it comes to dealing with its stakeholders. In this paper, as the public relations officer for Mac donuts, I am concerned with developing a public relations mission statement for Mac donut Inc. I choose the mission statement as, “Taking care of your wealth and wealth”, because I feel it resonates with all the stakeholders and hence brings them on board (Ledingham, & Bruning, 2000).
Public relations model
In the development of this statement, I chose to use the public relations model (the four-by-four model), which I feel it clearly identifies and articulates the key stakeholders in organizational public relations. These people include the society, the corporate level, the value chain level and the functional level. The value chain level for Mac donut includes the suppliers, the customers and employees. All these parties have a substantial impact on the organization’s public relations and in this case Mac donut (Austin & Pinkleton, 2000).
Societal level
For any organization, society is the main stakeholder on whose consent the organization operates and so Mac donuts is no exception. At this level, Mac donut is seeking legitimacy from the public by trying to Marshall Support for its services and goods. It seeks to influence the public opinion in its favor and it is for the same reason why I feel society is a stakeholder in Mac donut public image. The reputation an organization has in the society generally determines its approval to operate (Austin & Pinkleton, 2000). Therefore, the Mac Donut mission articulated above seeks to pull the society in its side by showing that the firm cares about its well-being. According to the mission, the organization will endeavor to fulfill its responsibility to the society such as supporting food programs for the needy and supporting educational programs. In this manner, it believes it will be preserving the society wealth and health. My role as the public relations officer at this level will be to articulate the mission to the society and show them what they have to gain by supporting the firm. I will also perform the role of monitoring the information, which is fed to the society about Mac donut and control any harmful information. I will therefore be assisting the organization to relate the external environment with the internal environment so that they can come up with the best niche within which they can operate (Austin & Pinkleton, 2000).
Corporate level
It is at this level than an organization pulls its resources towards its primary business goals such as making profit and creating wealth for the stakeholders. Those involved at this level are the management who make various decisions concerning the organizational operations. These decisions have to be sensitive and should be seen to be fair to all stakeholders’ failure to which the organization risks it image. The procedures, processes and the culture ought to be responsible. The Mac donut public relations mission at this level will be to portray the corporate (managers) as concerned with creating wealth for the stakeholders. This will be through articulating their decisions and their impact to the organization. My role as a public relations officer at this level will be gathering intelligence information, which will help the management to make sensitive decisions (White, 1991).
Value chain level
At this level, the organization is dealing with those who work and interact closely with it. This category of stakeholders includes customers, suppliers, distributors and the employees. Bearing in mind that this lot has a direct impact on the organizational image, public relations will focus at engaging with them positively. For instance, it is the work of public relations officials to monitor the activities of lobby groups, which might tarnish the name of the organization. It would also be expected persuade customers to buy. The mission here will be to guard the interest of the close stakeholders. This would be in terms persuading the management to provide favorable working conditions for employees as well as good remunerations (White, 1991).
Functional level
This is also known as the operational level where specific programs for the organization are undertaken. The mission here will be to ensure that the right programs, plans, and budgets, which preserve the organizational wealth and stakeholders’ health, are drawn. Public relations officials at this level have the role of drawing public relations and plans, passing relevant communications to all departments and advising the management on the best advertisement information to be included in the organization advertisements (Ledingham, & Bruning, 2000).
It is important that the public relations officers in an organizations understand clearly their roles in each stakeholder level. This will allow them align and articulate the public relations mission well at each level. It should also understood that all these levels are interdependent and as such any public relations goof at any of them spoils the good image of the organization. Therefore public relations officers should keep an eye on all of the and pre act on any activity that might bring about bad publicity at any level (Ledingham, & Bruning, 2000).

Assignment #4

Few would dispute the fact that the current era is becoming digital than it was ten years ago. The use of internet and other digital products is continually replacing the use of analogue devices in achieving various means. Some reports indicate that online usage has grown by about 60%. The big question that linger in the minds of many social scientists and other thinkers is as to whether the high usage of internet and digital devices, especially in learning institution is associated with easy and simple life or not.
It is undisputable that the benefits of online courses are clear. Technology has promoted the online courses where the students do not need to attend the colleges physically. Encouraging online courses have been considered one of the greatest milestones in the field of education. I personally agree that indeed the use of online courses has help many students because they do not have to look for residence in the university. Issue of residence is one of the problems that have been limiting the admission rates. Traditionally, universities used to admit students according to the amount of space or capacity available. Because of this, many students used to miss admission yet they may have passed the cut off points.
As far as the quality of learning is concerned, it has been shown that online learning also enhance the quality of learning. Students can get information through simulated powerpoints or through you tubes. In addition, students can also research for variety of books through online research databases. They do not need to carry around voluminous books. Student can as well share ideas through online platform. For example, student learning in university of California can as well interact with student learning in Harvard and share ideas related to a given field of study.
In addition, online courses promote the use of social cites such as facebook and twitter as means of socialization. These are socialization cites that are very significant to the students. Several benefits have been implicated to such means of socialization. For example, Utilizing mood management theory, Xun & LaRose, (2008) found out that people are mainly motivated to make entertainment choices that would make them diminish or terminate negative moods and extend and enhance good moods.
However, the long term impact of online courses can be detrimental. The first impact concerns the physical fitness and health of the students. Reliance on the internet and computers means that the student has to spend greater part of his time seated within the house. This implies that an online student may not have time to move around like if he or she was to move from one lecture hall to another or from lecture hall to hostel or residence hall. Lack of physical exercise has been found to be the major cause of obesity and overweight (Duong & Roberts, 2014). Obesity and overweight are too leading factors responsible for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and many complications (Duong & Roberts, 2014). These are the leading causes of mortality in United States. If online courses are encouraged without any program to promote physical activity, then there are high chances that the generation to come would have a lot of health problems (Duong & Roberts, 2014).
In addition, the study by Ghafari, Siamian, Abedi & Hasanzadeh (2012) reveals that excessive internet use can lead to what is called adolescent addiction. Adolescent addiction have been shown to create a series of mental and psychological problems such as little sleep, failure to eat for long periods and limited physical activity as well as physical and mental health problems such as depression, loneliness, low self-esteem and anxiety (Ghafari, Siamian, Abedi & Hasanzadeh 2012).
Assignment #5
Role of Public Relations Officer in Organizational Values And Ethics

Public relation is a very important organizational component in shaping and polishing its image in the eyes of stakeholders. Ethics and organizational values are as well prime points in advancing the organizational image. Therefore, public relations officers have a role to play in designing, spearheading and advising the management on how to handle the questions of ethics and values in their day-to-day operations. Apart from the normal financial organizational goals, organizations need to move beyond and rope in the role of ethics and values. This adds some weight in the customer’s and other shareholders’ real or perceived extent to, which organizations care about them. Customers, investors, employees and suppliers will associate more with organizations which they feel value their interest. There is also need to move beyond corporate social responsibility and create shared values (Lefkowitz, 2003).
Well as a public relations officer, I treat myself as brand; an embodiment of values and ethics, which organizations would love to work with because I belief I would be a positive image to the organizations just by being part of their management team.
My professional values
Integrity
Trust
Commitment
Professionalism
My professional ethics of work
I believe in myself and my capabilities to deliver
Conflict of interest-I do not place myself to a situation, which might lead to conflict of interest
I do not put my integrity and professionalism on line-I either have my way the right way or I do not have for good
I endeavor to do what is right all the time for the sake of organizational and my own image
Confidentiality-I do not divulge information in my possession, which am not supposed to divulge.
From values and ethics point of view, as a public relations officer I would fit in an organization at four different levels of organizational activities and operation. To illustrate his, I would like to use the four-point model (Quigley, 2005).
Corporate level
At this level, ethics and value statement are essential guides in decision- making. It is important that the decisions made at this level go beyond the tradition motivating factors that are pure financial. Employees, customers and society need to feel that the decisions take into consideration their welfare. Looking down up on these important stakeholders may prove costlier than if their interests were factored in the decisions from the word go. As a responsible public relations officer, at this level I will advise the management to take balanced decisions, which all stakeholders can identify with because of ethics and value deliverance (Thyssen, 2009).

Value chain
It is at this level that the stakeholders proximate to the organization interact regularly while executing organizational activities. There is need for trust and cooperation to be cultivated to enhance healthy interactions, which cast a positive image of the firm in question. The organizational objectives and the means to reach them need to be above board. For instance, procurement department need not solicit bribes to favor suppliers because this will create a bad image of the organization especially on those who do not secure the contracts. Public relations officer role at this level will be developing work ethics and values guidelines to guide the stakeholders in their relations. Of course, these guidelines will be a reflection of the organizational values and ethics statements (Lefkowitz, 2003).
Functional level
It is at departmental levels where various decisions for the departments are taken and to further the ethics and values of organizations, these decisions need to reflect the organizational values on the same. A public relations officer as the face of the organization, needs to come up with ethical values for each department. There is a chance for them here to show how ethics and can boost organizational image. The services offered need to be value based (Thyssen, 2009).
Operational level
This level is important because it is where specialist who develop organizational products and services parameters lie. It therefore makes sense as a public relations officer to start here where right from the word go, the goods will reflect organizational values. For instance, all goods designed should have such things as safety features. A public relations officer here has to come in with details of values so that the specialists can factor them in designs (Quigley, 2005).
My personal and professional statement of ethics and values
To be a trustworthy person in execution of professional duties
To preserve such confidential information, which I obtain in my course of duty
To resist and desist from situations which put my profession in line of conflict of interest
To preserve my personal dignity and integrity all the time
To participate in fair competition and compete fairly without seeking undue advantage against my fellow competitors
Giving all people a fair chance to present their case
To be a person of my word and sticking to my word so that I can create trust
To adhere to other organizational rules and regulations, this should guide my conduct
Not to solicit bribes or other favors
To adhere to time schedules
Assignment #6
Leadership, Women and Public Relations

Idea of gender in public administration has been controversial especially in Arabian countries. Most of these countries have been marginalizing women in many aspects of public administration. One major reason for such marginalization is because of lack of adequate leadership qualities. Most of the public administrators do know what public administration entails. This paper would review the perception of Dr. Mohammad Al-Hizan, director of Public Relations department in ministry of higher educations in Saudi Arabia towards women in public relations and analyze how best he is as far as public administration is concerned. The chapter entitled “enacting the role” asserts that society’s norms and traditions are preventing women in Saudi from excelling in the field of public relations/ communications. In addition, the article indicates that despite the successful experiences of professional women in the PR field recently, most of them have not ventured into the private sector.
Leaders need to be guided by the public relation theories and principles. Such theories and principles give the prescriptions about how a leader should lead. For example, most of these theories expect leaders to adopt what is called transformational and inclusive leadership. Transformational leaders are those leaders who can inspire others through communication whereas the inclusive leaders actively seek participation of others (Farmer, 2010). In addition, the public relations leader needs to possess a complex mix of knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have professional experience, gender, personality and charisma. Generally, I believe that Dr. Mohammad Al-Hizan, director of Public Relations department in ministry of higher educations in Saudi Arabia is doing the right thing in trying to bring in the issue of gender in public relations (Arab News 2013). Public relation should entail everybody in the society. It should not discriminate people in terms of gender, educational level or the social class. Dr. Mohammad is trying to reveal the truth about the state of women in government position (Farmer, 2010). This is the noblest undertaking especially in a country where society have strong norms preventing women from taking part in public relations (Arab News 2013).
As far as I am concerned, the main goal of public relations is to represent and echo the needs and problems faced by the public to the concerned government offices. The only way through which the public administrators can echo the public’s problems is by letting them propose different options (Farmer, 2010). From these options, public administrators can choose the pressing issues and pass them to the concerned government offices. If women are not included, it suggest that the public administration does not consider their plight and do not want them to contribute towards development of the public. This means that the move made by Dr. Mohammad to uncover or reveal the representation of women in the public relations would assist in meeting this key requirement of public administrators (Arab News 2013).
Another aspect of public administration and relation that worth noting is that public administrators should perceive feminism as a delicate, complex, controversial, and necessary one as far as public administration is concerned (Farmer, 2010). This is as per the feminist theory. The theory believe that women have key roles to play and that if they are allowed to contribute towards communicating matters related to the public, they can enhance the conditions of the public administration and relations significantly.
Lastly, I must just say that Dr. Mohammad address one section of the many sections that needs to be addressed. He just uncover or reveal what is going on but did not go further to give the measures to be taken.
Assignment #7

Strategic Public Relations Leadership

The role of public relations in organizations cannot be overstatement because it is tasked, with management of organizational information and its possible impact to the various stakeholders. For the public relations management leader to be effective and successful manage the public relations affairs of an organization, they have to be proactive. They should be able to spot issues, which are likel to affect the organization negativel and analyze them critically and draw a response plan to turn them into opportunities for the organization rather than allowing them still threats to the organizational good image. This brings has to move pedigree in public relations from just public management to strategic public relations leadership. Strategic planning for public relations therefore becomes a chief cornerstone to the entire process (Austin & Pinkleton, 2000).
As a strategic leader for Ball State University, I identified the issues of student debt and the economy, which has the ability to tarnish the ball state university's image if it goes out of hand as it sure will. It does not matter much that economy is well beyond the organization butte impact that is affecting student debt is enough. Therefore I think it was responsibility to come up with a strategic public relations plan, which understanding the issue and inclusion it in the organization for fit management. This is just beginning to reduce its impact on the reputation of the organization if not turn it to an opportunity. The plan was to be execution at various levels of the organization (Austin & Pinkleton, 2000).
At the societal level, Ball University seeks define its place in the eyes of the immediate society in a way that guarantees its legitimate operation. The strategic public relations plan at this level therefore will be designed to monitor and understanding the impact of debt an economy on the organizational reputation. The report will be presented as very important information in the organization decision-making process with student debt and economy impact in their mind. Some expected reactions at this level are explaining the position of the institution in relation to its values (Gregory & Willis, 2013).
At corporate level, the plan will collect and test information about the issue at hand and present it to the companies management for decision-making. The plan at this level will highlight the need to select the implications of companies decisions on student debt and economy especially on the very important stakeholders being affected by it: the students and the huge society. At the value level, my plan will be concerned with communication to the immediate school stakeholders such as suppliers and the students. The plan will try to identify the stakeholders, put them in importance scale an insightfully communicate to them to keep the balance of their conflicting and divergent interests to the organization (Gregory & Willis, 2013).
At this level,  the relevance will be encouraged between the public relations department with other departments. Strategic programs will be planned in a professional way such that they meet the requirements of the different stakeholder sections. The plans and evaluation strategies will be focus on unique needs of each stakeholder group. The various propose lines of action, at the various Ball University levels will help in turning the threat of student debt and economy into an opportunity. Such plans, which could make it public relations opportunity for the organization, include provision of institutional educational scholarship to the students to mitigation the need to take loans (Gregory & Willis, 2013).

Assignment #8

Vice President Job Opportunity Answer

I would like to appreciate the new opportunity that the Company has decided to offer me. However, in light with the position of the Vice President you have offered me, I am afraid that I might not take the position.  I have always wanted the best for this organization. I am not treating the offer as a position that will not allow me do the best for the organization but treating my current position as the one that will give me a chance to work best for the institution. I understand that this is a difficult time for you to find a perfect employee to take up the leadership opportunity as the Vice President. I also admit that, it is a difficult moment for me to decide to take the position or not. Nevertheless, I have tried to give in my efforts regarding making a decision for this situation and I hope my reasons will be satisfactory for you and for the appointing body.
I am holding the position of an organizational catalyst in this Company. As an organizational catalyst I have specific roles I play for the entire organization. Catalysts are not graduates of any taught course. Although this does not mean that there would be no replacement if one leaves the position, it might be difficult to replace an organizational catalyst. There are implications on this position that scare potential performers away. First, anybody in this position is expected to know all the conflicts inside and outside of the organization. In addition, the position holder is expected to independently find solution for these conflicts. My role as a catalyst is to ensure the organization is health both inside and outside. Therefore, assumption of another position at the senior level will have my objectives of overseeing the overall health of the organization unattended. With the days I have worked as an organizational catalyst for this company, I have developed a forecast tailored towards making this institution the most reputed organization.  I do not assume that I am the one developing the commodities for sale but my role of cleaning the social and image environment for our products and for our company makes me feel like this forecast plan opportunity will be lost.
I understand very well the position and opportunity of becoming a leader in the management level of this organization. Nevertheless, I have a specific objective to achieve for this firm and it is my duty to admit, inform and correct any situation that might bring instability in the company. If I do not do this, then I might be in the wrong position of assuming the roles of a catalyst. Being a catalyst requires efforts and dedications; of which I offer best to the Company. I have wanted a senior position in this organization too but I think having to defend the organizations reputation and cleaning the environment where it drives in will be life time opportunities I can offer this Company.  I also want to be effective and give my reliable impact for this organization. I feel that I can do this for my current position.
One observation that I have to admit is that of the importance of a catalyst in this organization. It is my duty to inform you that there is no close person in this organization who can perform the role of a catalyst as it is of now. On the other hand, it is easier to find the level senior manager who can assume the position of the vice president. I am only making this judgment using my intelligence information for this organization. Although I have a duty to advice and solve problems, it is also important to note that I do not make all the decision in this company. I might not take the position on the vice president that has been allocated to me but again this is not a decision I have to make on may own. I will advice what I strongly believe is the best cause for the organization and emphasize that the organization needs a catalyst like it needs any other position.
I have always wanted to do the best cause for this organization. I will give it all my best and promise to deliver more. I believe I can only do this better from my current position as public relation catalysts. I am a ware of the full board advantages in the Vice Presidents positions but I want to work for this organization better. I am a ware of the remuneration and benefits for the same. The best thing for me is act rational as what is the best decision for this situation at this time. I am putting my personal preferences aside and trying to work for the interest of the company. Additionally, I am aware of the risks in my current positions. Since there will always be an opportunity for everybody to serve the company better. I choose to serve it as catalysts. I am aware of the risks and complications of remaining in this position but I am ready to deal with them as I have always done. You want the best for me and the best for the organization. Nevertheless, it is worth a sacrifice to keep equilibrium during demanding situations like this.
I have thought to the best of my knowledge and made a decision, which I think is fair to the organization without neglecting any duty. I am also glad that I qualify to hold a top position in the Organization and appreciate you and the appointing body for expressing your trust, motivation and acting as an exemplary to me and other members of the organization. With my sincerely request, I hope you will find the best solution and find the best person to fit in the position of the Vice President. I will be glad for you accepting my position for this opportunity.

I also believe that I possess the necessary leadership skills to transform PR novices to PR experts within the team. Unlike a novice, a PR expert has nurtured the instinctive capacity to identify opportunities and challenges and respond appropriately for the business success of an organization. PR is an area that is significantly dependent not only on strategies of response during situations, but also on predictive skills before such situations occur. The ability to predict and prevent a negative PR situation is of great value, especially due to the fact that some situations have long lasting detrimental effects. Predictive skills are nurtured from constant application of PR principles within varying environments, in order to understand the intricate symbols in PR. Although most people assume that such skills are supernatural, they are general skills that are nurtured over time and inscribed deep into the psyche of an individual.
I value the importance of interaction as a PR principle. Interaction in PR basically refers to the ability to influencing the thoughts and beliefs of individuals through skillful application of PR principles. Current approaches in the business world prefer influence to threat when transferring information and ideas. As a leader in PR I will ensure that I nurture a team that is able to connect between theory and practice, as far as communication of ideas will be concerned. I expect to nurture skill such as cultural sensitivity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to read and interpret communication symbols. These skills will ensure that the PR team is effectively equipped to communicate the values of the organization effectively.
Given the opportunity, I look forward to bring these key principles to your organization and as a result add value to your PR team.
