The article summary must include:
1. Cover page with the title of the research article and your name (see template).
2. Background information explaining why the study was done.
3. Describe the hypotheses that tell what the authors predicted to find.
4. Describe the methods, including the subjects used and the procedure of research - the way the data was
collected (e.g., observation, survey, performance measures, etc).
5. Identify dependent and independent variables, and confounding variables.
6. What was the control and experimental groups?
7. Describe the Results of the study. What did the authors find? ; if the results support or refute the hypothesis
8.
Describe the Discussion or Conclusions of the study which tell what the
results mean. What are the implications of the findings?
9. Limitations of the study. What did the authors indicate were limitations of the experiment?
10. What future research is recommended to further examine this issue?
11. Include at least one in-text citation with complete reference information (APA style) in a section at the
end of your paper titled Reference. Reference only those sources you cite in your report.
