Choose an approach to psychotherapy and explore it further through primary source readings. The paper should address the historical development of the approach; the theory of etiology of pathology, what is the theory of how change occurs, what role the therapist takes and what techniques are used. The student should then provide a critical analysis of the approach, including research on effectiveness, the student's reaction to it, and the approach's applicability in the current diverse multicultural counseling arena.
