- Are interventions with children and adolescents who are at risk of future offending effective? You will need to address each of these in your response to the question.
Secondly, what does the question mean by ‘interventions’? Are we considering interventions just with the child or would we include interventions at the level of the family or the school for example? Which children are at risk of future offending?
Do you know of any interventions which have been run with children and adolescents? Were they effective in preventing offending? Are there any types of interventions which are more effective than others? Does the information you have gained from the intervention research suggest that these interventions can be effective in preventing offending?
