The Final Paper should demonstrate understanding of the reading assignments as well as the implications of the classroom activities and discussions. The eight-to ten-page paper should integrate readings and class discussions into work and life experience. It may include explanation and examples from previous experience as well as implications for future application. It should address the major topics, or subtopics, such as those listed in the next subsection. The paper must be written reflecting graduate level thinking and analysis. If you wish to pursue a topic other than those listed in the next subsection, you must gain prior approval from the instructor. When selecting a topic you should select one that has particularly “sparked an interest” for you during the course and is one that you would like to research more about. Make sure that it is a narrow enough topic so that it can be presented effectively in an eight- to ten-page paper.
