This task requires you to analyse the readings provided and to synthesise an essay on the issues that pertain to science education at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. You may research further and read beyond the papers provided. Your essay should contain the following components:
1. identify the issues that were present a decade ago and compare them with those issues that are present today (1000 -1200 words)
2. reflect on your own teaching practice and environment. Drawing on the things identified in (1) above, discuss the issues relating to science teaching and learning in your own classes.
