Research paper details MUST DO ! !!!!! -
English 122 requires a research paper using at least twelve references
to at least eight different sources listed on an MLA Works Cited page.
The body of the paper should contain between 1,400 and 1,800 words
(seven full pages).
Put this after the paper, on page 8. As an early part of your
assignment, you will select two thesis questions from the list in this
syllabus. Pick questions you have not written about before. For the
Thesis Questions assignment, list one source on each side of each
question (one pro, one con per question) in MLA Works Cited format,
identify the authors, and explain what aspect of the two questions each
source discusses. After you do this properly, you should begin work on
the paper immediately; if you do not complete the assignment properly,
bring in a new thesis question (in MLA 2009 Works Cited format) for
review at our next meeting. Failure to do this assignment will cost you
5% of your final grade for the course. If you have any doubts about how
to proceed with this assignment, ask me in class
