5.You must have
a thesis statement in the paper, which states: 1. your argument, and 2.
how you will go about developing your argument.
6.Identify and describe the main tenets of your argument.
7.In
a paragraph towards the end of your paper, critically explain &
evaluate the arguments in opposition to your debate topic. What are some
problems with the the opposition's argument? Why is yours more
persuasive? Use evidence to support your argument and cite throughout
your paper because this makes you more credible!!
8.Demonstrate your
understanding of the different arguments. Do not just state a point with
out explaining it. Do not just use a quote without explaining what it
means in your own words.
