Philosophy

describe the main characteristics of the study of nature in the middle ages. Consider the following questions:

How did medieval natural philosophy differ from that of antiquity?

What difficulties did Christian philosophers have in incorporating the philosophy of the Greek and Muslims into their own thought? How did they resolve these problems?

To what degree was medieval natural philosophy merely derivative and what degree did it involve creative thought?
