Develop a Coding Compliance Plan for your organization. Write a memo to your Compliance Officer outlining the key areas to be included in your plan for your inpatient facility and at least one thing you will do to address these areas. Locate the current Office of Inspector General Work Plan on the Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General Website. In your plan specifically identify which areas from the OIG Work Plan would be appropriate to include in your auditing schedule, which areas would be appropriate for the education schedule, and which areas would be appropriate for both schedules. Remember this is a memo to your Compliance Officer, make sure you use proper grammar and sentence structure. Your plan can be in outline form, bullet form or a table of other appropriate format.
