Computer Network Installation

Paper instructions:
ABC Inc continues to grow, and they are looking into having a new office constructed within the next 6 months.
____________________________________
1.They would like you to recommend what kind of cabling(Example-Cat5, Cat6 ) they should have installed.
2.Despite their growth, they want to keep cost down but have a solution that allows them to connect to resources at 1Gbps speeds.
3.There will not be any long distances to run the cables as all offices are within 150 feet of the wiring closet.
4.Please provide the CEO a proposal that meets the media requirements for this network installation.
5.Also include any network devices(routers-switches-hubs..etc) that may be required.  Keep in mind that they do not know what they really want or understand what they really want, so you must fully justify your selections in your proposal of 2 double-spaced pages.

Extra info Content wise – as part of your solution:
1) Be sure to include type of cabling
2) Be sure to include connection speed
3) Be sure to include cost of cabling(estimated)
4) Be sure to include specs of the type of cabling you recommend (ie—note the exercise indicates all offices are within 150’ of the wiring closet)
5) Be sure to include any network devices that might need to be used to connect this cabling –
6) Also—you might want to think about the topology you would use for this network—I realize there is no network configuration included in the outline.
