Your task in this assignment is to investigate a specific event or development in the period covered by this course on European History in the 19th Century (1750-1900). The task is comparative, based on a contrast between two primary source accounts of the event or development. You will supplement your interpretation of those texts with five secondary sources that discuss the event / development in question, or the primary sources themselves.
