Vision Statement

Vision statements are used as a tool to encourage you to consciously reflect on who you are now, what transitions you will be making as you achieve your degree, and who you will be in five years. A vision statement is a work in progress; you can reassess your vision statement as you move through your Ashford program.
Consult the following resources and/or do some additional research on the Internet:
  • Create your personal vision statement
  • Building a personal vision statement:
  •  How to write a personal vision statement:
Develop a one- to two-page vision statement that provides a picture or a snapshot of what your life will look like in five years. Be sure to consider how education shapes this vision.

Your paper must be one to two pages (not including title and reference pages) and must be formatted according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide. You must cite at least two scholarly sources in addition to the textbook.
