Students are required to write an academic piece of work on the topic of ?Elder Abuse?.
Students will be expected to cover the types of elder abuse, risk factors, nursing assessment and nursing interventions (an introduction and conclusion are required).
Students are then asked to choose one relevant Activity of Living, and explore what care may be required in relation to this activity for an older patient / client at risk of, or experiencing elder abuse including patient/carer advice given relating to the activity to improve function and health.
