The Romans had a talent for assimilating aspects of the cultures under
their domination. Discuss how Roman art at various periods reflected
foreign influences, describing features of specific works covered in
class or the textbook as examples of your main points. Out of much
information, a relatively short paper will be composed. The ideas should
flow clearly and logically from one cited work to the next. An opening
paragraph will give it focus and direction. A closing paragraph will
summarize your ideas. Sentence structure, spelling, and punctuation is
important in order to carry the quality of your information. Word
processing is required. Use a minimum of two references, in addition to
the class text. Use footnotes where appropriate when quoting an author
or an idea.
