In analyzing this case, you must first thoroughly read and understand the case, and then:
• identify the problem(s) in the situation presented in the scenario
• develop and compare alternative solutions to the problems
• consider the advantages and disadvantages of various possible solutions
• select the best solution and make recommendations for action
• write up your case analysis in appropriate case analysis report format

Format of the Paper
? The report will begin with a one to three paragraph introduction that details your opening thesis, describes the situation, and identifies the main problem(s).

1. Analysis – Include introductory paragraphs that establish your analysis and specifically address the issues below. Do not offer a history of the firm or tangential issues.
1.1 Core Problems Confronted by RIM – Offer a full, clear, and concise description of each core problem in the case.
1.2 Organizational Design / Development Challenges – For each core problem, write a few paragraphs in following format:
• Briefly describe the core problem
• Describe the organizational design challenge caused by the core problem
• Offer possible organizational design solution(s) to the core problem
• Offer potential issues with your organizational design solution(s)
2. Conclusion – Choose one/several of your solutions. Offer detailed justification for all of your decisions.
