Students are required to do the following:
1. Select stock markets of three GCC countries and test whether these stock markets are weak-form efficient.
2. For the countries selected in (1). Find whether there are portfolio diversification benefits, based on the correlation of returns.
3. Based on your results in (1) & (2), offer some advice to portfolio managers who are interested in investing in these markets.
