Paper instructions:
Using what you learned in this lesson’s lecture and readings, answer ONE of the following questions. Your answer to the question should take the form of a short essays of at least 2 pages (double spaced, minimum 12-pt font, 1” margins). Don’t forget – all assignments need to be in MS Word (.doc or .docx) format!
Your answers should be factually correct, critically considered and well-written (spell-checked, grammar-checked, etc). While the majority of points will be allocated to the first two aspects (facts and critical analysis = 85% of total assignment grade), you must still pay attention to your writing. That is, if I cannot understand what you are trying to say because of numerous spelling, grammar and writing errors, it will be impossible for me to judge whether or not you have met the requirements of factual correctness and critical analysis. Be certain to proof-read your work before you submit it!
In at least two or three well-developed paragraphs, summarize what you learned about Great Zimbabwe (brief history, archaeological evidence recovered, economic and trade information, etc). Then discuss how Great Zimbabwe was viewed by its earliest European explorers (loosely calling themselves “archaeologists”). Why did they view the site and culture as they did and how has it led to our current lack of understanding about the site? Finally, briefly discuss Great Zimbabwe’s current status.   Click Here To Get More On This Paper!!!!
